We recommend you have your high traffic areas cleaned every 6 months

How often should I have my upholstery cleaned?

Upholstery should be cleaned once every 12 months as a part of regular maintenance. Upholstery that shows visible dirt or soiling should be cleaned to avoid dirt building up and causing staining

How often should residential Air Duct systems be cleaned?

Frequency of cleaning depends on several factors, one of which is preference of the homeowner.

Some things to consider that may lead the homeowner to consider more frequent cleanings:Smokers in the household

Pets that shed lots of hair and dander

Residents who suffer from allergies or asthma who might benefit from the reduction of indoor air pollution.

We recommend cleaning at least every 3 to 5 years

How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?

Having your dryer exhaust system cleaned can not only save you money, but it may save your life.

Each year thousands of homes are destroyed and people die, due to dryer vent fires. A clogged dryer vent can increase the time it takes to dry your clothes which takes more electricity or gas, costing you more money. ..

It is our recommendation, that your dryer vent be cleaned yearly.

How often should I vacuum my carpet?

You should vacuum your carpet at least once or twice a week. Vacuuming frequently can actually give your carpet long life from not allowing dirt and grime from getting deep into the fibers and between the carpet and pad that can actually wear carpet faster in high traffic areas. In this instance more is better.

What carpet cleaning process do you use?

We use a Steam Cleaning process which allows us to clean your carpets with heat and steam to break down the oils, grease and dirt that makes its way into your floors. This process also extracts as we go, so that there is not a lot of moisture left in your flooring to allow for a faster dry.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

It usually takes from 8 to 24 hours to dry depending upon the condition and thickness of the carpet, and ventilation. But you can walk on it as soon as we’re done. I wouldn’t throw a party or anything but normal traffic won’t hurt it.

Just be careful not to slip when going from damp carpet onto a hard surface.Carpet dries on the same principle as your clothing, the more air the faster. So if weather permitting open windows, turn on vents to air, ceiling fans and portable fans are a great idea also.

What kind of detergents do you use?

We use top-of-the-line cleaning products consistent with industry standards and manufacturers recommendations. Our products are environmentally friendly, and OSHA and EPA compliant.

What furniture do you move?

We move things like sofas, tables and chairs. We don’t move dressers, beds, china cabinets, electronics, pianos and such. All we ask is that you remove breakables and knickknacks from the furniture you want moved

How do you treat pet stains and odor?

Because dogs and cats don’t sweat, their urine contains alkaline salts which absorb moisture out of the air. Thus, pet urine never really dries. It becomes a feeding ground for bacteria which causes odor, staining and discoloration.

Minor conditions can be handled with a combination of germicidal and enzyme surface treatments, and enzyme injections into the padding.

Major conditions usually require pad replacement and floor treatment in addition to treating the carpet.

Does Scotchguard really work?

Simply put, YES.. But Fabric protectors won’t prevent your carpet from getting dirty. Their purpose is to protect your carpet from permanent stains and prolong the life of the fabric, which they do very well if properly applied.

Will the price change?

When you call for an appointment we ask a series of questions which will help detect any conditions which may involve an extra charge. These charges are standard in the industry. The difference is we let you know up front what to expect. The choice is still yours.
